About Robin Holtom

Robin Holtom is Chelsea and Royal College of Art trained divides his time between his painting, teaching and sculpting, Where his taste which verges on the edge of hedonism is held in place by a classical sense of appropriate form and structure.

Biography / CV of Robin Holtom

Robin Holtom was Born 1944, Robin trained at Chelsea School of Art and the Royal College of Art. He is an Associate of the Royal Society of British Sculptors. He taught art in Colleges and Adult Education Institutes before establishing residential courses in Wales.

He currently teaches in Spain and Italy but otherwise paints and sculpts full time. He is listed in "Artists working in Britain since 1945" and has residency in Fondacion Valparaiso, Spain 2000.

In 2009, Art of England magazine published an article about Robin`s upcoming "Double Exposure" exhibition with Martin Fidler. You can download a PDF copy of the article here, or view back issues of the magazine for free on its website.
